I almost didn't include this campsite. It's the least-favorite site I've actually camped in. It's one of the few spots I've been where no breeze blew all night, making it very unpleasantly warm. Besides no breeze, the platform was so small, the two of us had to share a single tent. It was miserably hot all night.
The only way it could have been more uncomfortable there would have been being there with clothes on. That, and the fact that the chickee is well off the main Shark River channel lead me to grudgingly acknowledge it's a usable naturist campsite.
In all fairness, this site might be much nicer at any time other than the height of Summer.
