This area is hunted heavily during hunting season. During the Summer months it is a great naturist hiking area once the trail leaves the main road.

There was a hikers' campsite last time I went. I will update this post when I get current info.

The trail is a loop trail, so it is good for day hikes, which is all I have done there so far. The trail reaches the Withlacoochee River, and sometimes the water level and weed growth (or lack thereof) allows wading/swimming.
