The Lower Wekiwa Preserve extends along the Wekiwa River from Highway 46 and North to the St Johns River. The East bank of the Wekiwa River is in Seminole County, where it's a crime to be visibly human (simple nudity is illegal).

The West bank of the river is in Lake County however. I have camped naked on this side of the river, out of sight of the main channel, with a "warning sign" on a tree by my boat (Nudist Area Today).

A female ranger stopped and told me the sign needed to not be hanging on the tree, but it could be on my boat. She also told me I couldn't stay there more than 14 days. She pointedly did not tell me I couldn't be naked there. (I was not visible from the water, so to see me someone had to land next to my boat (and sign), then walk back to my campsite.)

Other than her visit, I was not disturbed.

During normal or low water levels, there are many good places to camp on the West shore. (It would be best to avoid the ones right on the main channel)
