Round Key is one of the first campable islands in the Ten Thousand Islands area as you enter from the Everglades National Park. There is a ruin of some kind of building on the South side of the island. Both sides have a campsite, though the Northern site is smaller than the Southern one. Sandles are a good idea here due to sharp shells.

This sandbar appears at low tide at the Northeast end of the island. It is about 1/2 mile long. It makes for a nice hike, but if you're shy about beeing seen nude, you may want to bring your towel, since there's nowhere to "hide". (None of the boats that passed while I was there passed very close to the sandbar, but I did see three boats with people fishing nude during my stay on the island, so folks may be used to the idea of casual nudity out here.)
