On Lake Kissimmee, north of Brahma island is a small island called Rabbit Island.

On the Northwestern shore of Rabbit Island is a landing suitable for canoes or small boats(GPS coordinates N27 56.519 W081 15.310).

Walking inland from the landing, you will first see a derelict houseboat that has been there for over 10 years that I know of.

Going further in, you will see the ruins of a stilt cabin (known to the locals as the "Rabbit House", this was a long-time weekend cabin).

South of the ruins, there is a faint trail. Following this trail, you will find five clearings, one after another, which are very suitable for naturist camping. I would suggest skipping the first one since people have occasional drinking parties around the ruins (the ruins aren't particularly safe to go climbing around - rotten wood, exposed nails, that sort of thing).

I would also bring your canoe back into your campsite or lock it up so no one thinks it's been abandoned. Most of the traffic on the lake takes place on weekends, so of course it would be better to just avoid weekends and camp there during the week. Doing this, I have never encountered anyone else on the island.

There's not much usable shade here, so I recommend camping here in Spring or Fall, avoiding the intense Summer heat
This island was apparently a homestead long ago judging from some of the non-native trees,a few odd artifacts I have found, and of course, the rusted-out Willie's jeep. So far, I have found no buildings other than the Rabbit House already mentioned. That appears to have always been just a weekend cabin, but who knows?
There's a lot of bird, insect, and reptile life on the island. (Below, the dark winged creature silhouetted against the sky is a deagonfly.)
