When using Jororo Woods (JW), please be considerate toward others. Generally speaking, you should leave the place as good (or better than) you found it.
You can do this in several ways, including:
Take your trash (including cigarette butts) out with you. If you have a fire, you can burn your paper and cardboard, but foil and plastic don't generally burn well. I end up picking out tiny pieces of foil for weeks. If you find others have left trash, please pick it up, then let me know about it.
Don't throw food scraps on the ground. It will attract animals which may develop the habit of raiding the campsite when people come camping. Please take your food scraps out with you, or burn them COMPLETELY in the fire.
You have to cross a pasture to get to the property. Please all gates AS YOU FOUND THEM. If closed, close them after yourself. If open, leave open.
You may see cattle, even in the woods. Please do not disturb them, if possible. (If a cow is trying to eat your tent, it's okay to shoo it away, though.) You may also see people tending the cows. You won't freak them out, because the cattle owner, his family, and employees all understand that there may be naked people in Jororo Woods.
Use only dead wood for fuel or campsite "construction projects". Please don't cut any live trees or shrubs.
Use a camp toilet or proper latrine for bodily wastes. Many inexperienced campers simply leave it uncovered on the ground, which is highly unsanitary, not to mention just plain gross (even a cat knows enough to bury their waste).

The above notwithstanding, Jororo woods is not within town, and we do sometimes target shoot there. Before doing so, be aware that, despite how 'wilderness' the woods seem, there are houses 1/4 away to the East, South, and West, and 1/2 mile to the North.
Therefore;
1. Put your target on the ground so your shot is angled down, not horizontal where your shot can travel to someone's house or yard
2. Don't shoot late at night or early in the morning when people are trying to sleep.
Also,please refrain from excessive late-nite or early-morning noise in general. (No wild parties)
When naked, please stay within the woods. (One neighbor, two properties away, came trespassing into JW looking for her dog. She saw me naked well within the property and called the Sheriff when she got home, complaining she saw a naked man in the woods. The deputies who responded informed her I was doing nothing illegal being naked on my private property.) Being naked on someone else's property without their permission could be legally problematic, and would definitely strain relations with the neighbors.
The campfire area in the campsite contains ashes from centuries-old Cherokee council fires. These ashes and the brown stones were brought here from the heart of Cherokee country. Please treat the fire with respect, and avoid re-arranging the brown stones, particularly the smooth ones (which mark out North, South, East, and West).
